CD8 molecule [1 record]

Record 1 1993-03-24

English

Subject field(s)
  • Lymphatic System
CONT

Recent studies have shown that the CD4 molecule does indeed have a weak affinity for MHC class II molecules. These observations support the idea that antigen recognition by T cells involves the formation of a complex of T cell antigen receptor and CD4 or CD8 on the T cell which recognizes antigen plus MHC on another cell.

CONT
